    Uber V light 69er

am interested in turning my Uber V light into a 69er. It has a lefty fork with @ 105 mm of travel.

I understand it is very easy to limit the travel on a lefty to make it 29er compatible?

How about a lefty 29er wheel?? prefer used since this is kinda an experiment and am trying to limit $$s invested to see if I like 26 or 69er on the Uber V.

Thoughts? Places to get a wheel?

I've always had a great wheel buying experience from these guys :

    Wheel Weight Calculator - Wheelbuilder.com

Just go to the store tab up top and shop away. Good luck on the V.

    Yep wheelbuilder is top noth

I actually know Richard at Wheelbuilder quite well. He built the wheels on my AM bike.

For this application, kind of a proof of concept, I want to minimize the cost until I know the performance. If I decide I like the Uber as a 69er, then I will ask Rich to build me a wheel.

So I guess I am looking for a used lefty 29er wheel.

Does anyone have any feedback on a super or Uber that has been 69d. How did the ride change, both good and bad?
