Truvativ carbon crankset on a Rush ??

Would a Truvativ Stylo HMC carbon crankset fit on an
    aluminum Rush ?
Would it be an upgrade to the bike's current XT (internal B/B) crankset ?

I don't see why not...it uses pretty much the same external bottom bracket. (68-73mm).
From what I heard so far the XT cranks are really strong and reliable that's why a lot of folks who have destroyed their bottom bracket bearings switch to the XT ones.
The Carbon cranks are definitely an upgrade - weight wise. If you're an aggressive rider and do a lot of log crossings and ride where there are a lot of rock gardens I'll say keep the XT's and invest the money somewhere else on the bike.
