I had a problem with Dyad since day one. It's been leaking oil on the side of the positive chamber. Seems like there was some kind of a micro fracture on the side of it, but it was working fine for a few months I was using it while waiting on parts...
Anyway, service center here finally got the parts, so I sent the shock to them, but I noticed some damage on the right side of the top mounting point where the shock connects to the rocker arm.
Seems there's either paint or aluminium damage around the steel insert.
Here is the photo:
On the other side, it looks normal
This has me a bit worried as it doesn't look good and looks like the steel insert might detach from the aluminium over time.
What do you think? Should I contact Cannondale and ask for a replacement?
