    Tips for Headshok fork removal?

I'm trying to swap out a Headshok fork. From what I found from other posts and elsewhere on the webs, all it takes to remove the fork is take off the stem/handlebars, remove the top cap, and tap the top of the fork a couple of times with a rubber mallet and it should drop right out. I've been trying, but the fork won't budge at all. The fork I'm trying to remove is a Super Fatty M. Any tips/advice?

That's all I've ever had to do.

Sometimes they can be a tad recalcitrant.

I find adding some mustard to your blows will help.

Be sure to hang onto it, they tend to exit at speed, and have a taste for toes if not restrained.....

    LOL!!

Try spraying some WD40 over/around the top and letting them sit a bit--then take a nice, soft, heavy rubber mallet and do as Craig says...
