    Supported Headshoks

I have 2 headshok DL Ultra 70 that I need to rebuild but have been told they are no longer a supported product.

Does that mean I can never get o rings for them or can I still get them from say McMasters?

Being unsupported I can't get new air cartridges for them? Or does someone have some stock?

Are there any head shoks that remain supported or is the plan to phase them out?

    thanks

They were phased out. So you would need to search for anyone that has any NOS (New old stock) on parts.
If you know the sizes, durometer and such, I am sure you can source O rings from mcmaster.

Is the DRL 80 headshok likely to remain supported for a while?

The DLR80 is one of the current headshoks, so it should be supported for some time.

The DL70 might not be in production any more but you can still buy the complete seal kits for them.. The HD166 seal kit covers a lot of Fatty forks and the older Leftys..

    Part #HD166

Seal set for Fatty, Lefty DLR old - Dr. Cannondale

The air cylinders and damper kits are also still available from a few places..

    damperkit DL70 - Dr. Cannondale

Basically, you can get pretty much everything you need to completely rebuild these forks.. bearings, races, clips, booths, stickers.. the only thing you might have difficulty replacing (new) is the uppers and lowers of the fork..

There are plenty of specialist Cannondale stores out there.. in the States you've got the likes of Infinite Cycles and Mendon Cyclesmith to get you moving.. for Europe you have 88 Aid, DrCannondale & Qwerty Cycles are all very useful.. there is also Doc Headshok France, Leonardi Racing in Italy amongst others..

And as mentioned above, the DLR80 is still in production today so this will be 'supported' with spares for many years to come..
The names have been changed to protect the innocent...
