something is wrong with my lockout...

    woo.. first post.

so i bought a brand new cannondale f4. im absolutely in love with it, but when i lockout the fork it kind of jiggles up and down. any little bump i hit makes a knocking sound. this is my first high end bike, so ive never had an airshock or a lockout. is it ok to ride it like this for a few days before i take it into the shop?

Sounds like the cartridge could probably use a little extra damping oil if it doesnt lock out fully. You wont damage it by riding it as long as you dont use the lockout.
Regardless try not to ride any shock Cannondale or otherwise with lockout over bumps and any kind of impact as it can potentially damage the seals.
