SI Crank to xt -- -HOW please

i've just bought a scalpel frame,
it originally came with SI crankset which has been removed

i dont want to spend that much on new crankset and just want to use xt
    or possibly raceface cranks.

can anyone tell me what i need to buy and install so that my frame will accept
shimano xt or more modestly price cranksets than SI.

all feedback and help is greatly appreciated as i know bog all !!

To my knowlege, it's not a do-able thing, different diameter BB shell, no threading, etc etc etc. Maybe someone has a creative solution, but I'm not seeing an easy, commercial route to this, sorry.
This is a Pugs not some carbon wannabee pretzel wagon!!

Cannondale has adaptors that you more or less permanently install in there to allow you to install regular cranksets. It exists, not too expensive and Cannondale even use it on stock bikes with frames that are BB30 but for lower end models (Rush Carbon for exemple). Here's the Cannondale tech document...
