    Scalpel or Rush ??

    Hello All

I am looking to get a new Bike.... I mostly ride on hard surface ( road, packed sand, grass) being that's what is around me. I occasionly get out onto some mud and rocky, stumpy flat trails. I Currently have a slightly upgraded Cannondale jekyll 600 with lefty & disc. I have been trying to research which would be a better upgrade for me and my type of riding. I prefer a full suspension & LOVE the lefty.

    Any suggestions / recomendations?

2008 Scalpel sounds like it would be right up your alley. Not that the earlier ones won't get the job done, but you're used to quite a bit of rear suspension.

I ride a Rush, but the trails I run generally aren't smooth and easy.

Honestly, you're probably better off keeping the Jekyl if you just ride recreationally. Nothing you do is out of that bike's league.
