if you're not worried about aesthetics you can make frame protection for like $10. just get 1/8inch thick by 1.5inch rubber tubing, for all of you college grads- the stuff you make a beer bong out of, and cut it down the middle and cut to length and round the corners if you like. Here is where your creativity comes to play, you can buy it in black or clear, if you choose clear and want to paint it you can not a problem but first you want to strech it out and lay something heavy on it so it flattens. this makes painting easier and the once the paints dried you can zip tie it to your frame but if that isn't something you like you can go to your hardware store and get commercial strength double stick tape or velcro both work.
I'm kind of surprised that the new Jekyll's don't have them stock like trek especially on the carbon models
