    RZ 120 1.5 headset conversion ?s

Im trying to put a fox float on to a 2013 RZ 120 1. The stock head set is a 1.5 in and the fox floats only come in 1 1/8 or 1.5 tapered. Can some one please point me toward a head set that might make this frame and this fork integrate?

I would like to make the 1.5 tapered steer tube(not the 1 1/8) compatible if possible?

I'm pretty new to all this stuff. Any help or maybe direction to a thread where this has been covered would be appreciated.

Haha! We have had this one a few times the last few days but no worry!

Your headset is an SI or system integration which means the bearings sit directly in the frame. You need the kp205 reducer kit that will enable you to put a tapered fork on your frame.

I live in the states but ordered mine from qwerty cycles who are based in the uk. Cannondaleexperts.com sell them but I believe they are still out of stock.

    See here: http://qwertycycles.co.uk/products/c...5headset-kp205

Also as you are new to all this stuff, here's the specs on your mighty machine. It may help in the future if you have further questions.

yep.... that's exactly what I have been using to get my specs. Im going to drop a couple fox floats on it switch to xt brakes and SUNringle black flag wheel set and it should be ready to go.

I'm not really new to mt biking I just haven't been into it in about 12 years so the technology has long surpassed me.

I had ordered mine from R2-bike.com in Germany and got it stateside in a week. I also just got notice that Cannondale Experts has them in stock again as well. They took about 4 days on my last order from them to get to my door in SoCal and are located in Utah. Just in case you're still looking.

are you gonna put a 140 or 120 fork as a replacement? I think either will work and if you check the a/c measurement of your current fork the 140 might be the closer match. I think the fox 120 forks are maybe a little shorter than some others axle to crown.

Op should be good with either. Usually it's ok for geometry etc to stay within 20 mm either up or down.
