Rookie Jekyll Qu re: Rear Shock

The rear shock on my 2002 Jekyll has become very soft over time. I think its time to replace it. I plan to keep the bike (it's actually my wife's bike) for a while and just upgraded several other compents. We tend to ride most weekends, mostly technical single track, but nothing too X-treme (the wheles tend to stay on the ground for the most part). Looking for a suggestions on what to repace the shock with. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Is it air or coil spring? If it is air, you should check the air pressure. If it has stopped holding air, send it to PUSH industries for a rebuild. Do a search for PUSH. Only a Jekyll specific shock can be used. Be careful if you buy one used. They changed the model after 2002 and a later shock will not fit the 2000-2002 bike.

It is air and I have increased the air preasure a few times without much change. Sounds like a leak or bad seal. Thanks for the info on PUSH. I will look into that option first.
