Got a used rize last year. What started out as a creak i coudnt find has now turned into a sloppy rear wheel. Crazy thing is i cant spot the knock. I read somewhere it could be the du bushing on the shock. But when i grab the shock and try to twist it it seems quite snug. The linkage bearing seems ok also. But i just cant place the source of the knock for the life of me. So im convinced its time to figure out how to do a full bearing replacement. Do i need to do the shock bushings also? I was thinking of doing rwc max bearings. Should i also do a needle bearing on the lower shock mount. i have read its not necessary on the top mount but is worth it on the bottom mount. Anyone have some experience with this or tips on what all i should replace andbhow to do it. I read somthing about a hairdryer for removal and loctite 638 for installation. Thanks to anyone for some insight.
