Rear Shock for a Cannondale Prophet 2007

Hi Guys, need your help here... I need to change my old Manitou Swinger 3 way air and I taught a Fox Float RP23 Rear Shock 2012 200mmx51mm will be a good choice... will that rear shock fit in the bike with no change (biggest) in the geometry? normally is a 200mmx50mm correct?... or is preferable to buy a DT Swiss M212 200mmx50mm ?

    Thkx for your help

190x57mm on XC or FR mod - rear tire will hit your seat tube during bottom out
190x50/51mm on XC or FR mod - OK
200x50/51mm on XC or FR mod - OK
200x57mm ONLY on XC mod - OK

If I remember correctly, Prophets came with 200x51mm shocks.
Depending what you had (dimensions of the Manitou shock) you will rise/lower your BB height and "open"/"close" your head tube angle.
If you're in control, you aren't going fast enough.

My 2005 came with a 7.875" Eye to Eye w/ 2 inch stroke. I've always got a really quick answer on exact sizes etc by calling Cannondale direct: 1-800-245-3872

you also need the proper mounting hardware as they use different bushings. The RP23 works great with the Prophet, I did the same thing.
