    Rear Shock for '04 Jekyll

How much difference is there between the Manitou and the Fox Pro rear shock on the new Jekylls? Currently I am running a Fox RC on my '00 with a remote lockout. Not bad but I bottom it out sometimes as I am a Clydesdale. C-Dale is suppose to be replacing my frame, swingarm and rear shock under warranty. This means I will be keeping my Ultra Fatty too, so only 70 mm of front travel. I ride mostly XC, very few drops, but a lot of rocks and roots.

    Any info would be appreciated.

I have been able to try bikes with several different rear shocks; however, the Manitou SPV is my favorite. If you can get one, I highly recomend it, if not the fox pro pedal is also a good alternative.

I live in Nevada and prefer to utilize the entire amount of travel. The Manitou is awesome because I can climb efficiently and I get a plush ride on the way down.

Check with Manitou whether it will work with a 70m front shock.
