I've stripped my lefty to give it a little service. Now, I have the races out and the side that contacts with the bearing strips has a little oxidisation on but the other side is like new. Would it be ok to spin the races round and have them run on the good side. I will be ordering some more but in the mean time I don't want to not interrupt my training while I wait for them to come from the states (I'm in the uk).

The next job is to give the damper a bit of tlc. I have a new seal kit which I am going to do over the weekend.

what wt oil is used in lefty dampers in the factory? If it makes a difference it's is a lefty speed carbon sl with a dlr damper.
