    Question about Bike Value

I have inherited a Cannondale Jekyll 1000 that is white. I think it is somewhere in the 2003-2005 year range. I don't ride, and I'm thinking I'll sell it. I'm trying to find a decent price, but I'm clueless, and would like to not get ripped off. I asked around at the local bike shop, and they were wholly unhelpful.

The bike is I think a 18-20 inch frame, it has the Lefty fork and the Fox Float RL rear suspension. Shimano Deore XTR gearing, DS1-XC Rims and Continental Gravity Pro tires. I'm not certain on the rest of the components, but I do have pictures here.

The bike probably needs just a basic tuneup, but other than that it should ride fine.

Can anyone help me figure out a good asking price? Is 500 too much/too little?

    Hi There,
    I think $500 is a fair price.
Are you selling it now? I'd be interested in buying!

$500 is pretty fair. I bought an 03 on ebay for 700 a year ago, so u might be able to squeeze a little more out of it. At $500 u should be able to unload it quickly and headache free and not feel ripped off.
