    Smile Prophet travel question

A friend of mine and I have been debating something that hopefully you folks here can help us answer. Does the FR/XC adjustment on the Prophet affect the travel of the rear suspension in any way? In the manuals it is only mentioned that the adjustment affects the geometry. I did some searches and come up with several discussions that mentioned the geometry but I couldn't find anything related to travel. I would tend to think that travel is not affected but my friend thinks otherwise. If anyone here could shed some light on this that would be great! Thanks!

Travel is not affected, you get 140mm in both settings. The travel appears to be softer in FR since you have more weight over the back end of the bike.

Travel softer? Hmm I always thought it was softer in FR, but imagined it was just my head playing tricks with me! ...
