    Prophet Front Derailleur

I'm upgrading my front derailleur on my Cannondale Prophet, and I can't use a E-type because it takes up to much space in my BB(I'm putting a Black Spire Stinger on it also) so I'm wondering what FD will work on it.

Theres two of the options I've been looking at. I'm not sure which will fit or whatever, if anyone could help me that'd be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Not sure why your's won't fit. My friend has a Stinger and his original E-Type front derailleur on his Prophet. I have a Stinger sitting in a box for my Prophet. Don't have the time to mount it.

The Etype is there, because it's all that will fit. Chances are you can run it just fine, just remember, it acts as one of the spacers for the BB. Since the shell is 68mm, you'll most likely need a spacer anyway

I already tried putting it together with the e-type, and it wont fit. I'm running an XT Hollow Tech II It would fit, if I put the stinger under the e-type, but I don't think thats feasible is it?

Try putting the Stinger in place of the spacer.

Ok, I tried putting the e type in where the spacer is, and sure enough... doesn't work. Due to the fact that the e-type mount isn't strait, it bends around and such, making it so it can't lay flat against the stinger. So I went and found a Sram X.7 derailleur that isn't e-type and I put it on, and it works.. Now i just have to wait for my XT to show up and toss that X.7 then I'll be set.
