    Prophet coil bottom out ?????

    Tonight I changed the Prophet into the freeride mode ...went for my usual loop,got a fallen tree about a foot high I bunnyhop over, and straight away I bottom the 4 way coil i have on at the moment ,,,funny thing is i did not bottom it out last week in the XC mode ...does the freeride mode change the leverage ratio? I dont see why it wood as shock stroke and travel have not changed....so why the bottom out ...i dont get it

    The angle of the shock changes a bit so the swingarm moves into the shock's stroke a bit more easily and your weight is moved toward the rear of the bike too so it's even easier to compress the rear shock.
