    Nice drive train! Was there much weight saving in going 1x11
    Are you running the carbon lefty
    Unfortunately I didn't weigh it before and after. I've been running 1x9/10 the last 3 seasons, so that is the first this I do to all my bikes. The lefty is the alloy version.

    Post your Scalpel!!!!-image.jpg

    My 2014 scalpel. Built up from the frame. But of a mash up with PBR alloy fork, bontrager bar, roval carbon wheels, xx1 group.. 22lbs as it sits. Rides like a dream.

    Hey guys, how do you like the 740mm wide bars for xc? Is it still a longish, 80-100mm stem?

    Mine should be done in a week or so, so will post up pics then.

    2012 Scalpel Carbon 3 with the following modifications:-

    * 650b wheelset with Stans Crest rims (with custom green rim decals), Pillar aero spokes, Soul Kozak lefty hub and Novatec rear (1,420g weight)
    * Thunder Burt EVO tyres with Stans sealant
    * titanium rear qr skewer
    * Quaxar Axim 160mm floating rotors in Cannondale green
    * Oneup Components 40t rear sprocket (in green) with 16t sprocket
    * Wolftooth Components 32t spiderless chainring
    * Crank Bros Eggbeater pedals
    * USE atom carbon riser bars
    * ESI racers edge grips (in green)
    * USE sumo carbon seatpost

    Just the change to 1x10 took over half a kilo off the weight off the bike. I reckon I might be able to save approx 3lbs all in which should take me close to the 20lbs mark.

    Total build cost is approx GBP2.2k (bike bought new a few weeks ago)

    So i now own this which I bought used for half the RRP when it came out....Sure beats my China-9r hardtail,(which I still love, but now relegated to the No.2 slot). I was going to get a Scalpel or 429C around tax time, but this came up for sale and honestly, how could I have done any better?

    2013 Cannondale Scalpel Ultimate, Large
    Full XX1 w/30T Rotor Q Ring
    ENVE 29er XC on DT240's
    ENVE 700mm Sweep Bar
    XX WC Brakes, Shimano Icetech Rotor front, SLX Rear
    Reverb
    Selle Italia SLR Flow Saddle
    Rocket Ron Front / Ralph Snakeshin Rear
    Time ATAC XS Pedals

    10.2kg as it stands.....

    More love for the 2013

    Changed the grips, pedals, added a bottle cage and a little touch of red on the Lefty top cap.
    Looking to change the stem out for a shorter one today.

    Is that a small? Did you have problems getting a water bottle cage in there?

    I changed my scalpel to 1x which removed the cable and fittings from under the bottle cage, which gave slightly more room for the bottle
    Go the camel PAC for when more water is required

    Bits and pieces put together from a few bikes, mainly a 2012 Flash. I never realized what I was missing out on having a hardtail, why didn't I make the change sooner

    XL size, as it sits now 23.3 pounds. Considering changing out the saddle and seatpost just to say it weighs 22 something....

    Long story short, scalpel 2 2014 frame had a crack, the factory team frame is a warranty replacement. The rear shock is from the scalpel 2
