Hey mate, I've just bought one of these and I'm just wondering what parts you have used to drop the weight down.

    2007 Scalpel 1

Bought this baby second-hand in the summer of 2012....gently used, in very nice condition...just finished replacing the chain, middle chainring, cassette and all the rear-triangle hardware......rides insanely nice and tight! Always wanted a Scalpel....will probably keep this one forever!

Will Cannondale accept warranty issues if you are using 650 wheels on a 26 inch frame?

Oh yeah Good to hear it, here in Brazil this bike is unique, maybe the second 29 full suspension bike. I supose you have a lighter 29er full suspension as you said that this scalpel is basic...

Sorry if I sounded rude. That is really nice bike! Mine is indeed lighter but it is 26" so unfair comparison. To me ultimate would mean custom made carbon parts, tuned components and maybe hydraulic shifting
