I don't feel like the right person for starting this new thread but I didn't find the place to post my new Rize Two. I was able to make some deep upgrades in my bike for a reasonable price thanks to the people from my local C-dale dealer store. You really rock guys
On the scale it gave 10.9 Kgs (24 Lbs) that is lighter than my old carbon Rush!
The details are:
PBR Lefty Max 130mm
Si SL Hollowgram crank with Rotor Q-Ring chainrings
Pedals are CB SL that are gonna be switched for Look Quartz Ti in the near future (need more platform)
Spinergy wheels with Enduro Zero ceramic bearings
Scott Ozon 2.2 tires
Formula Oro Bianco brakeset with Hope floating rotors
Answer carbon low riser
Sram X.0 shifters
Sram X.0 rear derailleur
XTR cassette 11-34
Shimano XTR front derailleur
Ergon GX 1 grips (really recommended)
Thomson Masterpiece setback seatpost
Selle Italia SLR Ti saddle
Sorry for the delay. I got it on eBay from a seller that is no longer a registered user (it was pretty cheap for U$15). I googled "Lefty Carbon Cap" for a friend that also wanted one but I couldn't find it.
Thanks schuster , I'll try google .
If you paid for it with Pay Pal (or another pay system ) you can also get the info
from them about the EBay transaction .
Who makes the white handlebars and seat post in Jura 2004's picture ?
What model Juicy's are those ?
My Rize Carbon 3, european: A great improvement over the Prophet - especially geometry, climbing, handling. Tracks so much better downhill. No upgrades needed, apprx 12,3 kg without pedals.

Nice bike there Daktari!
I have Rize 4, EU model, and it is a great bike. I have just changed front tire, now I have Maxxis Minion DHF 2,35, and the bike feels even better. The tire isn't much wider than stock 2,25 tires. Now I am thinking of puting Maxxis Minion DHR 2,35 on the rear, and upgrading brakes, probably to Shimano saint (2009 model, when they will be available). My Juicy 5 sometimes seems too weak..
All in all, there is not much need for upgrades, as it is a great bike, and what is the point in putting al the XTR stuff on the bike, when my legs are Deore..
Thanks! The riding is great in most of Norway, especially Oslo where we have an extensive web of singletracks close to the city.
I was going to get a Rize 4, but the waiting time was to long. Got the 3 a monthe before I could get a 4. My wallet cries but I am happy!
Regarding tires, some friends have the Minions, they feel real great but a bit heavy. Riding tubeless for 3 years on the Prophet without a puncture, I want to continue without tubes. My latest favourite is the Specialized Eskar 2.3 2-bliss. Nice volume, nice compromise between grip when wet and rolling resistance.
Nobby Nics are also great, rolling very light but less grip when wet.
It is NN 2.25 ust version. Neither of the ones you have, but I guess that the sidewall is on the thicker side similar or thicker than the SnakeSkin.
Tried the Eskar 2.3. There is not much clearance in the swingarm on the bridge between the chainstays. I would say the tire is too big for the Rize. The Tire touch the gear cable when suspension compresses, clearance is 5 mm uncompressed.
Here's my Rize 3 (US). It's about 2 months old now and I LOVE IT. It stays right next to my bed at night so I can oggle it when I wake up in the morning
I just picked up my Rize 2 this past Thursday. Only custom option is the Thomson Elite with set-back as directed by the Cannondale fit expert. Yes, the post is high, but the dealer said this was actually the right size for me (Large) given my dimensions. They had an XL too, so it wasn't a "sale" thing. Anyway, enjoy the pics.
Humm... I actually looked and don't have one of the car. When I took these pictures I just got finished putting the Thule rack on the car, and fitting the bike. With the lefty, I had to get a new full upright bike rack, my front fork bike racks won't work.
Anyway, probably best I don't highjack the thread, just enjoying the Rize...
Believe it or not, the fit guy was telling me I should be leaning over more, and should think about moving to a flat bar. I never realized I had arms like Phelps...
Personally, I need to get in better shape before I do that... drop 10-15 lbs and get in better bike shape.
