No CFR option on the F29-1 in the states. Just that red, blue and white scheme.

    Batman edition....that's funny.

I know. Hopefully there won't be that many over here. On the plus side, it I wreck my frame at least I can get a replacement CFR one.

    This is my hi-mod 2 Flash (2011).

On the hi-mod 2 has anyone else had this rust on the stem sleeve collar? It seems like there is slight rusting, I will get it serviced soon and may change the sleeve.

Now my 2012 Flash Carbon 29er

    The family of bikes:

@Deano if you meant the Carbon Flash 3, I would select this bike for 2012. Its a great bike and often the parts are upgraded. However, in 2013 I noticed this was not seemingly the case in all parts and some say otherwise. I noted that 2013 for my F3 29er has the new derailler rear clutch that catched and prevents chain slap.

    Here's my Flash 2.
Carbon bars, and set up tubeless.
Grips and bashguard were a must to keep the orange bling theme going
This is a great riding bike!

I love the carbon bar (EC70). I had the orange stuff from another bike a long time ago, and it just seemed to work out for me when I got this one... I will probably swap it all out with either black stuff or maybe anno green at some point...

Sweet view & ouch on the altitude we don't use feet here but our climbs are the same 2,000feet to 4270feet as I live at 2000feet! The other have of the mountain is a cool trail and bike ride

    Ride On!

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you clean the rust off of your Lefty now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I confiscate your Cannondale.

@BoostN7 lol that made me laugh nice one!

Good news its not rust, it's excess oil that stained it & now I shall figure how to remove the said stain. My name is not stain (like the song), now you know me I will hide my bikes so they don't get confiscated! Lol

I promise to thrash the heck out of all my Cannondales

    Have a good morning

Haha! That's good news. Make sure you clean her up over the weekend. I will be monitoring the situation.

I haven't ridden my Flash for three weeks now #shame. I'm going out on Sunday though, which is good because I think the Cannondale Welfare and Protection Society would come and confiscate my bike if I left it any longer.

Hahaha! I am indeed! And yourself?

Humour? I'm not much of a comedian.

Okay, here's a funny story for you. Like all Cannondale fan boys I own a pair of "Mavic Yellow" Furys. They inevitably get covered in mud and because I don't have a garden, I thought I'd wash them in the bath. I figured I could get them in, wash them and clean up the mess before my misses got home. Now, I don't know if you've ever scraped mud off with a tooth brush, but it goes EVERYWHERE!

Safe to say my misses came home before I finished, and it turns out she'd only cleaned the bathroom the night before. I was well and truly in the dog house but my shoes were yellow again so I didn't care

and no, I am not missing the other half of my fork....

    @BoostN7

Fellow Brit - escaped the mainland to Swissy fondue legs land

I have done exactly the same as you mate, in the sink using a larger hard dish brush that I ruined and she didn't realize I had done it! I hid it under the sink... I used it:-

Clean wheels sets in the tub (splashes went on our cloth shower curtain, along the walls & well like you all over)
    Our muddy boots after hikes
    Cycle shoes

She never notices, well in fact one day when she saw how nasty the brush became. I quickly said oh that's odd!

I don't envy your wet british weather riding, it sucks... Thankfully it's far sunnier. Escape whilst you can mate! Before the wife and tax man get ya!

My spies say you're an Essex boy, I used to live in Braintree =)
