Picked my new Flash Carbon 1, WOW what an amazing bike. Not real happy with the XO brakes but other than that, totally worth it.

    It is a aluminum version.

    - FSA CF Bars
    -Thompson masterpiece seat post
    - specialized Phenom Ti edition saddle

    2012 Scalpel 29er Alloy 4

Just picked up my 2012 Scalpel 29er Alloy 4 a few days ago and couldn't wait to ride it. So much so that I didn't think twice about the slippery muddy trails. I braked after a jump and the bike slid out from under me causing me to fall into a branch that impaled my arm and led to seven stitches. The worst part is that they hurt when riding but that doesn't stop me!

Got an amazing deal from Diamond Cycle in Montclair, NJ. They are an awesome knowledgeable and friendly group and I highly recommend them if you live in the Northern NJ.

Huge shout out to Craig, Lou, and Emo!

Why singlespeed? (Also see the SS FAQ - Stickied at top of thread list)

    sandyeggo,

Is that the TeamBeer adapter? I just got a 09 29er 2 frame warrantied for a 13 F29 1 Alloy frame and plan to swap my SS steel to this (racing a LOT more this next year perfect frame for it) and will probably use a tensioner for a week but do what to get an adapter. So how is it holding up?

Seeing another guy with 3 bikes makes me feel less guilty about having just bought a 3rd one ( Flash 29 C3). But man,you really need to give that fully in the background a good rub,you can't store a poor bike like that...
