PBR total strip
I want to totally strip my 2012 PBR so i can powder coat the the upper.
Is this an easy enough job to do? and are there any guides out there.
Buy some Duracoat® paint instead of powdercoating it.....cheaper, DIY project and durable as heck since it's used to coat firearms. It comes in a special spraycan that mixes the hardener with the epoxy paint so you don't even need a fancy airbrush and/or aircompressor.... taking it apart is the easy part....putting it back together is another story... ;-)

As someone who has pulled apart a fair number of forks that got powder coated, with guts and bearings still inside, allow me to stop you now.
If you really want to do that, the fork needs to be fully disassembled, so you just have the upper leg in your hands. Anything less, and you'll have an awesome collection of molten plastic bits, a useless fork, and a big bill to make it right again.
No, no ready made guides for a complete tear down, Cannondale haas chosen to protect their interests, and your face, by not making such documents available top the public.....
If all you want is a color change, cdalemaniac is right on target. Want to powdercoat? Complete disassembly is the only way.
