I heard that the fork is "buttery smooth" like a lefty, if you run it backwards.

Hope the owner did not post a review if the bike here, but I am sure his/her new bike will handle better.

I admit they did better than I would, at least they got it back together mine would be in peices if I tried to take my fork apart

    regards
    Ray

Nothing is wrong with that fork. It's the very rare F-300 Short Wheelbase model. The steep effective head tube angle and the short wheelbase really tighten up the sloppy steering.

Maybe I'm the only one here that ABSOLUTELY doesn't understand what's so funny/wrong with the fork.......

I just checked the link and it looks like the "funny" has been corrected. In the original auction photos the fork was backwards but the stem/handlebars were correct. It looks like the seller took some new pics. It's not funny anymore.

Okay, I was gonna say, unless they're thinking that the brace should be in front, it seemed fine to me, phew!

The funny thing is - no wonder she never rode the bike. It probably rode like hell.

OK, I realize I'm kind of new to biking, but wouldn't the front brakes turn with the bars?
