    NOOB Question of the day:

What does the SL in my "Rush 6Z SL" stand for?

Also, what does the "Z" stand for?

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks!

I'm hearing the "SL" could stand for:
    "Super Light"
    "Shorter Length"
    "SLoping Tube"

Just curious to know what it really means...

I believe that it means super light. They changed the construction of the frame a little bit for 08 and the aluminum models all got "SL." I'm not sure that the frame is any lighter, but they changed it anyway.

Hmm it makes sense in terms of acronyms but I'm not sure if the bike is light lol.

What's the best way to weigh my whole set up btw?

On one of those hanging scales My Rush "Superlight" weighs in at 28 lbs. 2oz.(With Carbon FSA Bars and Loaded Precision Stem and Seatpost, Panaracer Fire XC 2.1's)
It is light enough for me. Was told by LBS that is what SL stood for and that the frame/rear shock is only 5.2 lbs.
