    New wheels baby!

For the last few weeks, I have been tormented by decisions on what to do....buy a new bike, buy an old Zaskar and put a few hundred into it....or build a new bike????

Today, I go into the LBS to buy a new wider tire to try out on the Zaskar I was contemplating buying....and I walk out with this!

Congrats! Good choice! You won't regret it I bet!
I think next Year I'll also try to get a HT frame and start to do more races.... maybe a 29er???
Anyways I bet this one rides like a BMW compared to the GT, right?!

Ok....all the reflectors are off....and I installed some old beater platform pedals I had layin' around for now.

Me thinks I'm going to get some clipless shoes tomorrow. Going to rain tomorrow, but it should be very nice on Wed.

You know...I really wanted to like the Zaskar alot more than I did. I kept reading how great the frame is, but it just didn't do it for me???? I'm a Clyde....not a racer by any means...and this bike just felt better to me.

I was eyin' up a 29er lefty in the shop today too.....very nice!

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

I was able to hit some trails today....bike was great!...wish I could say the same for me! I picked a trail that was out of my skill level....but I had a blast anyway....and how are we to better ourselves if we don't challenge ourselves???
