    New Stylo Compatible with Jekyll?

Will the new Stylo Team GXP be compatible with my 2003 Jekyll 600? I want to upgrade the Truvativ FireX and go with the outer bearing design.

    Thanks

The only cranks that we have had a problem with on our Jekyll's was the new Race Face Evolve XC. No problems with the FSA, Truvativ, or Race Face Deus. All with outboard bearings. In fact right now we are reviewing a Stylo Carbon on a Jekyll. So far so good, with ZERO installation problems.

    Hope this helps.

edited to add: One thing you need to be careful with is the bottom bracket needs to be chased and faced. The external BB are less tolerantthe shell not being square.

    Thank you James!

Was a change to the newer style Shimano front derailleur required?

Nope. The spacing is the same, if it wasn't your chainline would be off. You'll use one spacer, non-drive, and 2 spacers drive side.
