    New Scalpel wins again

The new Scalpel is quickly proving what it's worth, Jakob Fuglsang won the U23 World Championship last week and this week, it's Fredrik Kessiakoff's turn, he won the World Cup final yesterday. So the bike known as the winningest FS in XC racing continues the tradition...

    he was really flying yesterday.
I couldn't believe my eyes, when I saw him on the steep grass section near the start/finish area. he was pushing big in front and third, fourth in the back... nice job, Kessi.

    and what a nice bike...

it's true that Absalon was not motivated anymore, but Hermida and Sauser both looked like they were trying very hard.

I'm so glad I decided to go with this bike, should be in my hands in about 2-3 weeks and then UGI starts. CD really outdid themselves with this bike. It would only be better if it was a 29er. Oh well, just gotta wait a few more years for that one.

First Swedish Word Cup victory, at last, and Fredrik so totally deserves it! he has been on the podium so many times nut never before in the middle!
I remember when he had a huge lead in Fort William -05 but got passed on the last lap and finished third, he was so devastated.
And I saw an 08 Scalpel 3 live yesterday, looks really really nice in reality and the carbon ones must look even better!!!
I'm gonna get a Team Issue or Scalpel 1 whatever it takes!

You are right, Worlds were the previous week, Julien Absalon won again, Fredrik finished 4th then. At the Worlds though, Jakob Fuglsang won in the U23 category on the new Scalpel, making it a World Champion winning bike on first try!

The race won by Fredrik was the last race of the World Cup serie. It's not the World Championships but a World Cup still is a pretty important race, in importance, it's just below a World Championship race, way above every other XC races.
