    Yeah - cool!
Just called my LBS and gave him the part # - he's gonna call me back in a few minutes (hopefully) - will post after he calls or when I get home from work.

Definately x-mas present material for my son (and maybe myself)!

LBS just called back (Bay Road Bikes in Hamilton, MA)
They said MSRP is $374.99 (US) and it won't be available until about the first of the year.

A little pricey for my needs, doubt I'll be getting one.

$375...you gotta be kidding!!! That thing's toast the first time you crash.

    I have this one:

Only $25 and it's made domestically. Makes the same amount of lite.

I was thinking of sticking the batteries of my handlbar mounted Dinotte in the steerer tube on my lefty but would have to give up the Canondale headtool that's there. that's not going to happen.
Steadite - a 3w luxeon puts out at least 3 times the 15 lume light you own does.

Actually the stem is not really subject to much damage in most crashes. Also, I would imagine that the Cannondale light puts out a significantly higher amount of light than the $25 special. Although I haven't seen one in person I pretty sure it would compare to one of the Niterider Minewts. If it came in a 90MM version I would probably get one.

Wow That's about twice what I am able to pay at this time. I still think it a cool light.

    Maybe someday.

    HID light

This is the light i run on my Rush:

The light is made by Trailtech and it is designed to fit onto a helment using velco but I also run it on the bar. I just need to find a nice oversize quick disconnect-type of clamp to mount it on. The tie strap sure looks tacky, lol!

    HID light

    here is the pattern:

The light uses a 13w HID bulb that is equivalent to apprx 40w halogen.

That's pretty expensive, I think I'll pass and stick to my small LED.

The Headsite comes as standard on the Euro Bad Boy Ultra. I wonder what the UK price is for the Headsite if bought separately?

As for the "Stem Light", seems somewhat permanent, in other words it would pretty much stay on the bike even during a day ride? I don't think I would want to huck the extra weight (mainly battery) up hills ALL THE TIME if I don't have to, I like being able to remove mine on a whim, especially on an outing in the rock garden or more technical downhills were it has the potential of getting damaged
