Need Help identifying, 95 Cannondale M500?

I got this bike second hand in Manhattan in like 1999 have and loved it for years, even though it was a tad small for me. I am pretty sure it is a 1995 Cannondale M500, but wanted to ask the experts.

I have mostly retired the bike and it looks brand new. What is market price / desire for one in great shape? I am moving to a place where I could retire it to more appreciative pastures, but would like to know more about the bike.

You might want to play around here: www.vintagecannondale.com/catalog.html

I couldn't find the darn thing in the catalogs (unless it's a small frame), but perhaps you'll have better luck!

    Nice looking bike btw

I'm pretty sure that it is a small frame. Back in the mid 90's, when the Killer V was around, Cannondale used this design for a lot of their "small" frames....
    '11 Surly Pugsley
    '07 Prophet 3
    96' Killer V 900ht
    04' F700sx
    '10 TommiSea Terrain Destroyer

Serial # on the bottom of the frame will tell you the year it was made.

If you want to put a value on it, I would say $50.

The best way to value it is to dismantle it to the component parts and sell them bit by bit on Ebay. If the parts are in good shape it will give you the most $.

If you don't want to hassle with taking it apart, put in on craigslist for $50 or donate it to a charity. Even though it is very ridable, a 13 year old MTB really doesn't have any resale value unless it is collectible.

Depending on the frame's size I would be interested in purchasing it if you are willing to ship to NY.

Take a holiday in the UK. It'd fetch maybe $400 here!
