    My LBS > *

Stopped in the LBS today to inquire about another headtube plug. I lost mine last year, and seeing down to the tire bothers me..

They don't stock that part, so they would have to order it.... I then asked about the toolkit that sits in the headtube. I've heard about it but haven't seen one. He said the Rep was just through and he thinks they have some 'in the back'.. so he runs off, is gone about 10 minutes, and walks back up with one. Said the price wasn't in the computer, so he'd give it to me for $20. He said it was probably more like $40, but .... and left it at that.

Yeah, my LBS has had them for a few months now. Very good idea and use of that space.

Yeah, that's a great tool, and you got it for a great price - it's normally about $40.

Gotta love Price Tag Russian Roulette when you try to buy something that's not "in the system"!
