lol Why? Because they're cheap and you can make a bigger profit that way....Just look at some of their newer bikes....more than $3.200.- and sram X7 components.??... WTF???
A few years back you were able to get xt/xtr equipped cdale fullies in the same price range...

You do realize almost all bike companies spec their bikes like this now at similar prices. It is not a C-Dale thing but an industry thing.

They tested the Cannondale SL2. I bought a Cannondale SL1 last year and its by far the quickest MT bike I have ever owned. Just had my free REI tune-up, so can't wait to take it out again!

I saw a few weeks ago a Cdale, F800 I think. The thing is, that those bikes where fantastic. They still looks marvelous: nice geometry, spectacular finishes in frames, lefty o fatty.... Cdale used to make great bikes. Bikes with "no time", bikes with future solutions or new solutions (Since when are they using 1.5 headset?). And yes, they where expensive but, for 3k you get a spectacular frame, xt, ....

At the moment, and not only for Cannondale, bikes haven't improve so much, at least hard tails. But the "first price" is 3k and you do not even get a complete xt! What is going on?

I will keep my Rush for long....

    Happy trails!
Just try to be happy and smile every day.
