    Maximum tire size for Jekyll

I queried Cannondale, but to no avail - I never got an e-mail reply from them, so I thought I'd ask here. I have a 2004 Jekyll 800 (small size). Anyone know what's the maximum size of tire that'd fit bike without rubbing problems?

    Cheers.

Possibly a MutanRaptor 2.4" (very narrow for a 2.4) You will need to be sure that the dish is right on the wheel.

I put a set of 2.5 WTB Weirwolfs on mine but these are not a true 2.5 and I still had to shave off the drive side outer knobs on the rear tire. They grip great though. Maybe a little heavy (even the race version) but I have gobs of traction.

I have MutanoRaptor 2.4's on my 2004 Jekyll. They fit with plenty of room to spare. As for the tire themselves, I have been happy with their performance. They hook up well in every condition I have been in, and even lived through several days of hard riding in Pennsylvania rocks.
