    Mavic Crossland UST Rims

Has anybody out there mounted a 2.30 with tube on the Mavic Crossland UST rim? I know that Cannondale puts 2.0's and 2.10's on them and spec's a 2.0 on the Spalpel web page. I was just interested in runing with a wider tire.

    Thanks in Advance

I even had a 2.5 IRC Trail Bear tire mounted once, with no issues.
Also a 2.4 Schwalbe Racing Ralph.
Cannondale used the Crossland wheels with 2.35 tires on the Prophet so you shouldn't have any problems running wider tires...(Other than the chain rubbing on it while being in the granny gear up front...).

    look at it this way
A 17 mm inside rim width(like xmax SLR, or x117) can take a up to a 2.1 or small 2.2
A 19 mm inside rim width (like Xmax ST or x819) can take up to 2.4. Although, I would not run anything less than a 1.9. You will get a weird profile.
Lead by my Lefty............... right down the trail, no brakes.
