In love again with my Lefty.....

And thanks to MTBR members for putting me in touch with Craig at Mendoncyclesmith. After dealing with leaking oil from beneath the boot and overall bad lefty performance I attempted a DIY repair job but got to a point where I knew I had to make a decision. Off to Mendon my Lefty went and a wise decision it was. The seal was shot, and the oil (what was left of it) had covered everything it shouldnt.

Thanks to Craig i have my Lefty back and it is sweeter than the day I got it, with the added bonus of a TPC upgrade from FFD. Figured while its down I might as well....happy birthday to me!

Anyone else with Lefty issues and less than adequate mechanical skills and patience (like me) should consider his services.

Thanks Craig for your help and fast turnaround time.

No doubt, from now on I'll be planning to part with it in Jan/Feb when the snow is too deep to ride....

    Lefty from Brazil

Craig, I'm from Brazil and have a 2006 Prophet with a Lefty Max Carbon SPV and although its strenght and stiffness constantly amazes me, its tunability is hard to set properly, since I have to desmount it every time I try a new adjustment and haven't found the perfect spot yet. Do you think of something I can do to make it perform better within its standards and what would you recomend to get the most of it? I'd love to send you my Lefty but I don't know if you service parts from overseas. Thank you so much, any help will be much appreciated.
