Looked at an F29 2 today.

I didn't ride it, just went and kicked the tires for now. I have some questions regarding reliability with a Clyde. Right now I'm 6' 347. I'm losing weight pretty quick, and estimate by the time I actually pull the trigger I'll be closer to 330. How does the Lefty hold up at higher weight and higher pressure? Right now I have a RS Tora set at 180psi and it seems to be holding up pretty well. I don't want to spend that much on a bike and fight the forks reliability.

I also have a question about the wheel and hub. I will likely need to have custom 36h wheels built, again because of my size. Is there even a 36h Left hub available? Thanks for any help.

Yes, you'll definitely want a heavy duty front wheel built up with Lefty hub. Should be able to find a matching stock rear wheel to match the front rim. Easton Haven, Stan's Flow, anything Mavic come to mind. I think there is a Clyde's forum... good question for them. Lefty fork is a good question for the bike shop or their web-site maybe. I am sure Mendon will know. Good job outta you! Keep it up!!!
