I have an 08 Cafffine F2 with an alloy lefty. I am experiencing a problem on it where after I hit a few bumps going down the trail, the lockout slowly goes from off, to on, leaving the bike fully rigid. Is there anyway to solve this?
Get your bike to your dealer and ask them to look at the negative spring. It is rare but it is possible that the spring is wound incorrectly and is causing your issue. Should be an easy fix.
i have this exact same problem with my 08 scalpel 4. i have had it back to the dealer (rose city portland) three times and the problem still exists. getting tired of taking it in and not getting a good fix.
very annoying to have the lockout change settings when it wants.
is there anyone at cannodale you can contact to get it fixed for real that anyone knows of?
There is Craig at mendoncyclesmith.com, he also does a lot of support right here so he may chime in...
