    Lefty tuning shaft help!!

    Hello,
I am fixing a Lefty suspension for a customer down here in Mexico. Apparently someone in a shop he took his bike to turned the lockout lever too hard and broke the tuning shaft. His suspension doesn't lock now.
It is a Lefty Speed (I'm guessing 110mm, am I right?) with the DLR2 Damper. Here's the link to the owner's manual; go to page 28. http://media.cannondale.com/media/Ma...plement_en.pdf
Cannondale calls this part the tuning shaft. I already called Cannondale Experts and they told me they didn't have that part; they only sell the complete damper assembly.
Does anybody here know where I can get a new tuning shaft? Or does anybody have a spare one they would be willing to sell? I can make a pay pal transfer.

    Thank you very much!!

Putting a new cartridge in (PBR) would be your best bet....that's what I did.
PBR is much better and it simply doesn't compare to the DLR2 damper....
Try to contact cannondale of Mexico for spare parts or a dealer locator.

I'll tell my client and see what he thinks.

    The 2007 lefty speed DLR2 is 110mm or 100mm?

DLR2 is 110, but the 100 pbr cartridge feels like it has way more travel since it doesn't have that steel spring for the preload in there, but a solo air system made by Rock Shox that auto adjusts the correct preload for proper small bump compliance......

Make sure you also order the solo-air kit for a PBR 100 if you decide to go that route. The damper doesn't come with the solo-air kit.

Yeah, make sure you order a "Retrofit kit" which comes with everything needed... ;-)
