    Lefty and stem length?

I'm moving to a wider bar and need a shorter stem.

How short can I go if I want to use a Lefty? Will a 70 mm Thomson be ok?

    I'm using a 90mm and it's pretty close, don't think a 70mm would fit. A bar with a bunch of sweep maybe?

I have FS a barely used Syntace Vector Carbon 680mm bar w/ 12 degree sweep. Brings the grips back a tad too close for my tastes. Something like it could be perfect for your needs though.

I have a 90mm +5° Cannondale stem on my Rize and the bar clears the Lefty with just enough space to get a wrench on the top of it for bearing resets. Cannondale sells a 60mm +5° stem too, but I don't think it would work on my Rize; relocating the bar further back by 30mm would be over the top of the Lefty and the bar wouldn't clear the top of the PBR.
