    Lefty Stem

I have an older Lefty that has the 25.4 stem. I would like to change the stem to allow for 31.8 bars.

What are my choices? Will the SI system work on my older lefty or are there lefty specific stems that allow for me to go to a 31.8 and just change the stem?

Probably looking for 90 mm with 20 deg rise.

    Thanks.

Which lefty is it? What year is the lefty? On some of the lefty forks you have a seperate steerer ,Speed, DLR2, on others the steerer is attached to the lower yoke.

If you have a seperate steerer you could go with the new opi stem otherwise you are looking at the type you see fitted to bikes with Fattys.

    Pinned

My lefty is pinned on the steerer.

So this means the SI system does not apply to me??

So I have searched a bit and am not hitting stems for the lefty or headshock that have a 31.8 bar size.

The Hope is a real nice stem, another one which is slightly cheaper but still good is the:

Woodman WOW-HS (they do a 1.5" and a cannondale one. HS denotes Headshock)

    cant find the rise

in the stem from Hope or???

So I think I will just purchase a new 25.4 handlebar. Deity has a new 25.4 bar with both a 50 and 75 mm rise in 28" width. Thatll work..

Cannondale still have bolt-on stems, not built in the steerers... It would probably be the cheapest Lefty compatible stem option.
