Lefty speed dlr sl, Air leak and no lock out,

A friend of mine has 2009 lefty speed dlr sl lying for couple years,
He has just decided to comeback cycling again so i help him sorout all the frame and parts, but when it come to setting up sag the air started to leak,
initially it was ok without load but as soon as my friend sit on the bike the dam thing gone flat, And the other thing i notice is that the lock out is no longer lock,

Is there any easy fix? I am a mechanic myself but never open the lefty before, Do i need special tools to strip it down? I guess for the air it must be just a seal but the lock out i am not so sure,

Without proper tools and knowledge, it's quite easy to take it from needing service, to needing to be replaced.

Take it from me, I've seen it a number of times (too many...).

Many routes ranging from a good LBS that knows them, to a Cannondale dealer that can send it to Cannondale for you, to one of several competent independent repair places around the world....

Mendon Cycle is one of them and he does a fabulous job in repairing Lefties

I'm one of his satisfied customers and I live outside of the US. I got mine used in eBay and had it shipped to his shop for complete overhaul before having it shipped to my country. Truly a wonderful experience and that was around 2010 I think
