    Lefty small movement

Bought Flash hi mod 1 2010 with lefty speed carbon DLR SL few days ago.
I have noticed some small movement (up and down) when the lockout is on.
This I was told by the shop is normal but I want to hear something from you.

    Thanks for any help.
    cheers, rappid

Normal. My Lefty Speed PBR does that too. Nothing to worry about.

Not so much normal, but not dangerous, or an indication or imminent failure, or internal damage.

The lock out works on the principal of oil being non compressive. Air, does compress.

So, you have a bit of air in the damper. As long as t doesn't increase rapidly, I'd not lose a minutes sleep over it. If you see more "travel" over the course of a few days or weeks, time to get a tech in there to check damper caps for proper tightness, and refill/bleed the damper.
This is a Pugs not some carbon wannabee pretzel wagon!!
