    Lefty Setup Help.

I have the Lefty Carbon Speed, and it's my first Lefty.
I've set it up as well as I know how, but have issues.
When I'm seated it works fine but when standing and haulling on the pedals, it's too squishy and makes that pshhh pshhh pshhh sound.
It's been tuned by Mendon Cyclesmith, so I know it's in great condition, and obviously it only needs some adjustment.

    What to do?

That sounds normal. How about using the lockout while climbing?

It's not when climbing. It's during sprints and generally kicking ass.

What did uping the pressure 5lbs do for that feel?

I know things can be tuned. However, beyond the air chamber, you need some special tools.

Shot Craig an email. He has always gone "above and beyond" for me on tuning questions.

Interesting as I had the opposite problem. I need more of plush set up for smaller, high speed pumps while still retaining my big hit ramping.

According to Craig, all I had to do was drink a cheap bottle of wine....................Oh, and put the plastic wine cork in the air chamber after I was done. Then, I lowered the pressure, but it ramped fast as I went through the travel.

I still fantasize about those rides where I was on demo Rize2 with an RLC Lefty. That thing had it all. So many things to tune and make it perfect. It even opened my beer and scrapped the mud off my cleats after the ride. I heard it washed your jersey too, but I never tried that.
Lead by my Lefty............... right down the trail, no brakes.
