Lefty pressure / sag guide
Not long got myself a lefty pbr 90mm. I'm 148lb geard up so a lightweight.
Few questions being my first lefty and short travel fork I've had in years.....
What sort of sag should I be running for the 90mm fork ?
What rebound should I be looking to run for the above sag?
Is the iphone tune app accurate enough to go by?
It's not the normal route, but I don't use sag for setting one up. I use bottoming out.
Take your typical hardest hitting ride, and keep dropping pressure by 5 or 10, till you bottom out once or so, on that particular ride.
If you like it there, cool.
A bit too soft feeling, come up a smidge.
Cannondale charts always seem way too firm for me. I also prefer to use all the travel I purchased, at least now and then.
Running them at this level also really allows the small bump gobbling performance of these forks to come to life.
Do note that consistent, frequent heavy bottoming out will cause the bottom out bumpers to get destroyed, leaving the fork without their protection, not a desirable thing.
