    lefty lockout knob orientation

    first post, dumb question:

My lefty speed bonded DLR lockout knob is pointing forward and is hard to turn because it is blocked by the handlebar...How do I change the orientation? (All the lettering on the fork is in the correct position, it just seems like the knob is like 180 degrees from where it should be- that is - pointing towards me)...

    Thanks in advance.

Loosen the main top cap with a Shimano external BB tool (you may need to remove the rebound dial and lock-out lever to do this, depending on the lever position - 2mm allen key and 10mm socket). You don't need to take the cap off, just loosen it.

Replace the lockout lever (if you had to take if off to loosen the cap) and turn to the require position.

Tighten up the top cap and replace the lever and rebound dial.
