New question here. Is this a Lefty leak?

    Hey all,
2006 Prophet 1000, SPV lefty. I noticed what looks like some grease "bubbling" out of the top of the boot. Also, the last time I connected to the SPV valve to adjust, it was a bit oily. What gives?

Sorry for the bad picture, all I had was my camera phone...

As long as there's no oil residue, your fork isn't leaking. It may just be grease used on or around the stanchion. But it's hard to see from the photo. Best bet- take it back to your LBS

Thanks - I was thinking that, about the grease. I'll keep an eye on it. So far it seems to be functioning normally, but if things get weird I'm taking it in...

It can almost look like it might just be the air filter overflowing which would be normal, no worries.
