    Lefty for 100kg dude

    Hi,

I`m having Scalpel 29`er 4, and I plan to get Lefty.

Are there any restrictions regarding to weight - since I do powerlifting and my weight is 95-100 kg (depending on season and amount of pizza I had yesterday)?

    Thanks,
    NM

I had similar questions. Here are a couple of threads I found useful:

    Is the lefty, Clyde worthy?
    Is the Lefty Clyde friendly?

I personally weigh 111kg and have a 2013 F29 Carbon 3 with a lefty. I have put 1000+ miles on it over the last 7 months and have loved the lefty. I use it more as an XC than all mountain, so the largest drop I recall hitting is roughly 2 foot.

I understand the limit to be around 136 kg 300(lbs).

100kg isn't that far up there. It's fine, no worries. Go ride!

The manual for my carbon lefty speed has a rider weight/air pressure chart that goes up to a rider weight of 125 kg. You could talk to your LBS as well.

Yeah you'll be fine, they are some of the strongest 'forks' on the market.
