    Leftified F3 Caffeine

Just finished the Lefty install on my F3.
OK, I've always liked Fatties, but I guess I like Lefties better now.
Got a good deal on the Lefty with steerer and wheel - how could I resist? Having the wheel included sealed the deal - might get a better wheelset next year, but the 223 is fine for now.

I still gotta mess with the front brake cable a little, also waiting for air filter oil to come in before I do any real riding on it - the thing was bone dry. Cleaned the filter, renewed the grease under the boot, it cleaned up real nice and is very smooth. Also got a new frame bumper.

The lefty decals weren't in great shape, so I got rid of them. I think I'll leave it as a "black out edition" instead of trying to get new ones. What do you all think - decals or no decals?

Thanks to those here on the forum that helped with the little bumps I encountered on the way.

Stock decals, prior to removal. The Lefty sticker actually came off in one piece, so I stuck it on my tool chest.

That is really nice looking- kind of like a working man's race bike, not so blinged out that you wouldn't want to actually ride it. The black out Lefty just adds to it. Beautiful.

Lol - We call him Thor. I think it's the only thing in the house that cost more than my bikes.

Close - It's a Viking, hence the name "Thor".
